Today, Classes 5 and 6 went to the ‘LitFest’ in Marlborough and met Tom Palmer, the award-winning author of D-Day Dog and After The War. Tom shared valuable tips for research, planning, writing and editing, as well as introducing his new book Arctic Star to children in the Marlborough Town Hall.
Marlborough LitFest is an exciting mix of live and online events for all ages including fiction, non-fiction, poetry and the annual Big Town Read. Their aim is to champion new writers as well as established names. To find out more, visit The Children’s Programme 2021.
