This term, we are very lucky to have students and their teachers from Marlborough College run after school clubs for our 6 children; Classics on a Monday and Japanese on a Tuesday.
Classics Club is an introduction to the Latin language and the Classical World over 5 weeks. The children will discover how some languages are structured differently from English, whilst also finding out the names for some everyday objects and actions. They will also look at some of the adventures of Odysseus, and an in-depth analysis of the Roman Army.
Japanese Club is an introduction to the Japanese language and culture, looking at numbers in Japanese, origami, family members, Japanese music and Autumn colours.
