After winning the Marlborough Cluster School’s Tri Golf competition, Ramsbury qualified to the School Games at Dauntsey’s yesterday.
The Tri Golf team were also joined by the Ramsbury Quad Kids team, who also qualified at their cluster competition last month.
Mrs Davies led the Tri Golfers to a very well deserved 2nd place, narrowly missing out on gold medals. The Ramsbury children played incredibly well working as a team, encouraging each other and had a lot of fun!
The Quad Kids team once again took part in four events; a 75m sprint, a 600m long distance run, a vortex throw and a standing long jump. Our children competed against the top performing sports schools across Wiltshire and Swindon, displaying a wonderful team spirit and good sportsmanship throughout the day. Isla from Class 6, got a PB on her long jump, achieving the best jump of the day!
