Mrs Clarke took 3 teams from Class 4/5 today to Marlborough Golf Club, to take part in a Tri-Golf festival.
Tri-golf is a fun, energetic version of golf designed specifically for primary school children. Tri-golf enables children to take their first golf shots safely under adult supervision, and build a good golf foundation. It is played with light plastic clubs and rubber balls. The aim of the game is to hit shots at bright, colourful targets and points are awarded for hits on target, speed and for teamwork.
All 3 of the Ramsbury school teams played with a fantastic team spirit, giving 100% effort and helping each other to score as many points as possible.
Mrs Clarke’s top performers were Abigail, Imogen and Hugo. Abigail scored the highest at every event, extremely well done!
One of our teams, Team Wentworth went on to win the whole competition, beating 12 other teams from local primary schools. This means that Team Wentworth received a Golden Ticket and automatically proceed to the County Finals!
Well done to all of the children who took part today, and a big thank you to Mr De Gouve and Mr Fellows who assisted Mrs Clarke today.
County Finals here we come!
