Mrs Juliet Rean
I have been teaching at Ramsbury School since my (now adult) children were three years old, so I think I probably qualify as part of the furniture! The children in Year 3 know well that my passions are sport, Lego and my family and they are very used to me regularly updating them with the cricket score during the summer months. I try to attend as many Somerset cricket matches and Southampton football matches as I can. When I am not watching sport, I can be found building my latest Lego set or attending musicals at the theatre. Maths is my subject, but I also love to learn more about the wonderful History topics we study.

Class 1 Teacher
I have taught at Ramsbury ever since I was a newly qualified teacher, which is a very long time ago! Since being at Ramsbury, I have been the class teacher in both Reception and Year 1. I love to see children being creative and using their imagination. It's one of the best parts of the job! I am also the Phonics and Early Reading lead, which is why we love sharing our favourite books in Class 1. I also love finding new books to read to my own children at home! Alongside my teaching role at Ramsbury School, I also work for Ramsbury English Hub. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog in the countryside around my home in Gloucestershire, attending live music and theatre events and going on holiday with my family.

I am new to Ramsbury Primary but have been teaching for over 10 years in various schools, in various counties. I have a passion for Early Years and Key Stage 1, where children are inquisitive and exploratory in their learning. My favourite subject is Art and am a creative individual, regularly making cards and pottery when I have the time! When I am not at school, you will find me in my garden with my family and Cocker Spaniel, George. I love going on walks, travelling and trying new foods.

My Favourite Sport: Anything with a ball
Favourite Quote: Winners never quit and quitters never win!
I am originally from Wales, but after living in England for most of my life I sometimes support England … but never in the 6 Nations! Wales through and through!
I have been teaching Physical Education for almost 25 years and I still love teaching today as much as I did the day I started. Seeing the progression that children make in all aspects of PE is the most rewarding feeling. I started teaching at Ramsbury in September 2022, as after many years as a secondary teacher, I felt after Covid there was a real need to focus on fundamental physical education and fortunately the opportunity at Ramsbury allowed me to fulfil the dream.

Mrs Lynn Hinder
Class 2 Teacher
I am happy and proud to have been part of Ramsbury School for nearly nine years in which time I have spent time in teaching in all the classes. I am just entering my 42nd year of teaching and I still love my job!
I am the Art and Design Subject Leader and help with the School Library-just perfect for me as I am passionate about art and books.
I love to spend time with my family and friends, especially my two daughters and my lovely granddaughters. Bertie, my ginger cat, is also an important part of the household, of which, in his opinion, he is in charge. I love my garden and enjoy visiting beautiful gardens to give me inspiration for my own.
I also enjoy sharing, with the children, my knowledge of the natural world, history and archaeology.
I am really excited to be part of the Year 2 team this year and I know that we will learn and have fun together.

French Teacher
I have been a Languages teacher for over 25 years but I’ve been a Francophile for even longer! I love all things French: the food, the films, the fashion and all aspects of French-speaking culture.
My background is teaching Languages to Secondary children but I made the transition to becoming a Primary French teacher in 2012 and have never looked back! I love teaching French to younger children as they are so full of enthusiasm and able to acquire new language so quickly. I look forward to working with all the children at Ramsbury school and passing on my passion for French and French-speaking culture.
Vive la France!!

Hello! I'm often the first person you will speak to if you call or pop in to the school. Before working in a school office I worked in sales and marketing and then ran my own PA and social media management business for several years; whilst my two children were very young.
I love: good books, podcasts, lists, fresh notebooks, Christmas movies and Autumn.
I'm not a big fan of: clutter, my alarm clock, horror movies and scratchy pens.

I come from South Africa and have lived here for 18 years. I live in Ramsbury and in my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog, Pirlo and playing tennis. I moved from a 1:1 TA in school to the office, 5 years ago and still enjoy spending as much time with the children as possible.

Mrs Rowena LucasEnglish Hub Lead
Mrs Rowena Lucas
I joined the teaching team at Ramsbury Primary more than five years ago and spent several happy years teaching in Class 1 alongside Mrs McCallum. The school was awarded English Hub status by the Department for Education in 2018, supporting other local schools to develop excellence in teaching reading. I now lead the team of specialist teachers for the project and can often be spotted at school with my nose in the latest children's book or blethering about books with our pupils! An avid bookworm both inside and outside of school, I can also be found in a pair of muddy running shoes on the Downs with my spaniel.

Mrs Fiona LuckhurstEnglish Hub Finance & Admin Lead
Mrs Fiona Luckhurst
Class 2 Teaching Assistant.
,I love a spreadsheet and working with numbers! Luckily my role as Finance and Admin Lead for Ramsbury English Hub enables me to do just that! My career at Ramsbury started earlier than this though, as I was previously the School Business Manager for 3 years from 2015 - 2018.
When I’m not in work, I really enjoy being active in as many sports as possible, as well as attending sporting events. Being outdoors, particularly with family & friends, makes me incredibly happy!
