School Uniform
At Ramsbury School, we take pride in our appearance.
Being smart shows we are ready to learn. Although wearing a school uniform in primary schools cannot be enforced, we strongly encourage it. The smartness of our children is often commented upon by visitors, and when we are out of school we are easily recognised. Children are rewarded for dressing smartly, such as tucking their t-shirts in, with a team point.
We recommend and encourage both boys and girls to wear the following:
Royal Blue:
- Cardigan*
- Jumper/Sweatshirt*
- Baseball cap*
- Gingham check dress in the summer term
Grey/Black:
- Trousers, shorts or skirt
White:
- Polo shirt* or shirt
(*Available with the school logo from the school office)
Footwear:
- Black shoes, black sandals or pure black trainers. If your child’s trainers have other colours on them, they can only be worn on PE days
To order a school logo sweatshirt, polo shirt, cardigan, skort, cap or book bag please use the Parent Portal. Alternatively, please email the completed form to: officeadmin@ramsbury.wilts.sch.uk
The charity shop in Ramsbury also hold a small selection of second-hand school uniform.
We believe children should come to school in suitable clothes of smart appearance. Casual wear, like jeans, highly coloured shorts and cargo pants are not permitted.
No children should wear any jewellery, including friendship bracelets, but can wear watches. If your child has a Smart Watch, it can only be worn in school if it does not have a camera. Hair longer than shoulder length should be tied up.
