School Council
The School Council are a team of pupils who are elected democratically by their classmates. The job description is simple. They are there to listen, be kind and approachable.
The Council meet every other Monday, during assembly, to give feedback from their classmates regarding their concerns or ideas for their school.
Mrs Pollock takes any points raised in the meetings to the higher powers in the school or Governing body.
The School Council is extremely important. It provides a voice for the children to share their views and thoughts about their school community. The children can share their views in class or write a note for the post boxes outside the classrooms (these are checked regularly).
The School Council have developed their own anti-bullying poster, brought back ketchup to the school lunch hall and most importantly, coordinate the playlists at the school disco!!
