Tuesday 11 June 2024 Ramsbury D-Day 80 Over the past few months the children at Ramsbury Primary School have been learning about D-Day and how the village supported the war effort and troops in the lead up to it. All of this culminated in each class producing their own tapestry commemorating D-Day and Ramsbury.
Friday 26 April 2024 Class 4 and 5 Orienteering On the 23rd April, 2 teams from Ramsbury Primary School attended an Orienteering Festival at Marlborough College. Navigating their way around the course, both teams showed great orienteering skills and teamwork. We were delighted with the finishing times, with one of our teams coming in 1st place! Our times secured Ramsbury Primary School a place at the School Games at Dauntsey's later this year.
Thursday 25 April 2024 Moon Day! Under tight security, Ramsbury Primary School borrowed one of the six boxes that contain both lunar and Martian meteorites, as well as Tektite, and Libyan glass impactite, which is formed when there is enough energy to melt and fuse the surface of desert sand in to glass!
Friday 15 December 2023 Santa Dash 2023 On Wednesday 13th December Ramsbury Primary School children took part in the Santa Dash.
Friday 8 December 2023 Wiltshire U11 Cricket Huge Congratulations to two of our pupils who recently attended Wiltshire U11 Cricket trials. Both Peggy (Yr6) and Maggie (Yr4) have been successful and will begin a 12 week training programme starting in January. This is the second year that Peggy has been selected for Wiltshire and for Maggie trialing as a Year 4 and being selected is a brilliant achievement. We wish them lots of luck for the season ahead ...... watch this space they are going far!
Monday 27 November 2023 Cricket Tournament - Year 4 On Thursday 23rd November Mrs Clarke took the Year 4 Cricket team to an indoor tournament organised by Wiltshire Cricket.
Thursday 23 November 2023 Netball Festival - Year 5/6 On Tuesday 21st November three teams from Ramsbury Primary School took part in the Year 5/6 Netball Festival at Marlborough College.
